Lymburn Esso Station Remediation
This project was privately negotiated work associated with the decommissioning of a gas services station in Edmonton, Alberta. Construction consisted of two phases to accommodate site and structural works outside of Option’s scope. During the initial phase of work, it became apparent that further removals would be needed. Option collaborated with the client to address the additional work within the project’s scheduling constraints. Phase One included:
- TAS establishment
- Electrical disconnects and degassing of associated lines
- Removals consisting of the station canopy, service pumps and tanks including sorting of all removals for disposal/recycling Phase Two included;
- Extra work as requested by the client to address further removals and additional excavation
- Contaminated material removal
- Clean fill replacement and backfill
